KERMIT - The Portable Electric Brewery (continued)

Here's the system during the chill. You can see the fan I use to push steam into the bathroom for venting.

A closeup of the chilling. The counterflow chiller is a "ChillyWilly" designed by Patrick Brochu, and was built during a big chiller building party held by the MoB (Members of Barleyment - see the Gallery for more photos), my homebrew club.

A peek at the mashtun, complete with mash bits. The false bottom is the el cheapo stainless version from Beer, Beer and More Beer. For $19 I really can't complain. It works great.

Since the portable electric brewery has to be portable, everything can fit in a blue recycling box - more or less! That damn white wire is a real pain in the ass, and I've got some 10AWG flexible wire that I'll be replacing it with ASAP.

A look at the aftermath of a particularly bad brew session. Nothing a little steam cleaning can't take care of! Yet another example of why a brew area should be tiled.
